Our Saturday Serve Days allow volunteers to serve with their hands and bring energy to our sites to show the people we serve that they matter. Whatever skill level you bring, we have a place for you on our project sites.
Although our work varies depending on the needs of those we’re serving, our projects often cover one or many of the following:

It takes a lot of volunteer hours to keep this trades training and mentorship program running. We’re looking for skilled individuals who are passionate about passing on the trades to the next generation. Check out below to see how you can plug in and serve.
Our Instructors are competent trades professionals who use their expertise and the curriculum we’ve developed to teach our students practical skills and expose them to a career path in each trade.
All of our instructors have worked in a particular trade for 10+ years and are able to train people who have zero experience. They are passionate about mentoring our students, and we are so grateful for them!
Our team of Workmanship Instructors is currently FULL, but we always have room for skilled tradesmen with our Renovation Projects. See above.
Teaching Assistants come alongside our instructors to help the students grasp the material the instructors teach. These TAs serve primarily in the jobsite portion of class. They assist instructors in helping students operate tools and delegated tasks.
We’re looking for individuals who have experience doing construction work and can do all of the following well:
- Read a tape measure (1, ½, ¼, ⅛, 1/16)
- Use a circular saw to cut a straight line
- Hammer face and toe nails
- Use an impact driver to drive screws
- Use a chop saw to make precise cuts, including bevel and miter cuts
